This flexible sales-oriented opportunity is for someone who enjoys meeting people, identifying opportunities and helping businesses understand how collaboration can create value.
The role focuses on developing relationships with local businesses, organizations and potential partners while introducing approved partnership and participation opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Identify prospective businesses and organizations
- Initiate outreach by email, phone, social media or in person
- Introduce approved partnership opportunities
- Schedule qualified meetings
- Maintain relationships with prospective partners
- Identify mutually valuable collaborations, offers or member benefits
- Learn and communicate approved business offerings
- Keep basic outreach notes organized
- Help grow the network across Oakland Park, Wilton Manors and Greater Fort Lauderdale
Preferred Qualifications
- Sales or business-development experience preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Comfortable initiating conversations
- Comfortable networking independently
- Familiarity with Oakland Park, Wilton Manors or Greater Fort Lauderdale strongly valued
- Organized follow-through
- Relationship-building mindset
- Local business / community connections are a plus
- English / Spanish bilingual strongly preferred
